Large-print Cossack sweatshirt
Pairs well with
This sweatshirt features an illustration of a Ukrainian Cossack, made by artist Mari Kinovych for our Explaining Ukraine article on the topic.
Initially introduced as a small motif on our sweatshirt, the Cossack illustration, due to popular demand, now takes center stage in our collection as a bold, larger design.
Cossacks were a semi-nomadic group of warriors who were the early pioneers of Ukrainian independence. Deeply ingrained in Ukrainian national mythology, the distinctive image of these freedom fighters can be seen today in paintings, statues, manuscripts, and now, on Kyiv Independent merch.
